Make a Poi

This is an individual creative exercise based around principles of ngā toi Māori and Poi making and technique. In the tutorial, Ngawai Reti will guide you through a creative exercise to use found materials to make a simple poi so you can learn some basic poi techniques. In this activity you will be able to creatively play and understand the beginning nature of poi techniques that you could expand into individual and team practice.
